Wonderful Christmas cookies with glaze!
Biscuit dough products
- 1 cup of espresso coffee
- 2 eggs
- 1 cup of yogurt
- 1 batching machine
- 250 g cow butter
- cocoa powder as desired, I put on an eye until the dough turns dark chocolate
- 1 vanilla
- 2 tea cups ground walnuts and or almonds
- 1.5 cup of sugar
- flour around a pound or a little more, depending on how much you take the dough
Products for glaze
- about 350 g of powdered sugar
- 2 protein
- 1 teaspoon squeezed lemon juice
- coloring agents for food
Preparation of the dough
Dough is mixed from all products, not too soft and not very solid, suitable consistency for spreading as you last put cocoa to decide how much to put.
Divide it into smaller balls for a more comfortable job.
Roll each ball on a sheet of about 0.5 cm and cut with figurines as you wish with a straw to drill a hole at one end of the cookie so you can then pierce the ribbon and tie it and then the finished biscuits will look more Christmas and festive.
Place them in a baking sheet or greased baking tray and bake them until ready for a moderate oven preheated to about 180-200 degrees. Baking is very fast and so be careful not to toast them because they are hard, then it is a good thing when the dough is no longer sour to remove them, rather than waiting for them to get colored and tan.
Prepare your glaze by crushing the snow proteins, adding lemon juice and powdered sugar in parts .... The consistency of the proteins is like cream but not too thick, slightly spilled but not liquid ... This is important to glaze the biscuits well.
Then separate your glaze into separate bowls and add different color paints for food.
The glazing of the biscuits starts with a syringe with a small hole forming the contours of the biscuits and some divisions if you want ... then fill it with the desired color glaze, the biscuit and decorate as desired.
Enjoy your meal!
